hairstyle

i made 5 small braids in my hair and tied them off with little pink yarn bows, then a really fake plastic blue flower hair clip. i was gonna do my whole head, but then i thought that my mom would kill me.

fabulous new pants

i got these amazing new pants today. by the way, i have recently taken a vow to buy all my clothes second hand, so there's really no point in saying where i got everything anymore. what made the pants even more amazing was the shirt (it was really supposed to be a light nightgown) that i was wearing with it. there are little white circles sewn to the edge that make a rainy sort of sound when i walk.

i apologize for the quality of the pictures.

freadom

this isnt a very exciting outfit, but im posting it because it's so unlike me. i call it my edgy, radical lesbian from the 1980's look.

homemade 2 piece jumpsuit

this was a pair of pants from boden. i bought a sgt. pepper's patch in san fransico and ironed it onto the front. i wore these pants quite happily for a year or so, and then it got really hot outside. so i cut off the pants at the knee and made capris. but then, i had all this pretty extra fabric. so i made a shirt, sort of shaped like a skirt, with the sides triangles of flow-y yellow fabric-and voila! a beautiful 2-piece mod style jumpsuit!

im sitting in the computer lab at school with nothing to do.

ok, so todays outfit is not very interesting in that it didn't involve a lot of scheming. however, i am wearing one of my more amazing dresses, so i thought it was worth posting anyway. i call this dress my "technicolor acid flower" print dress, because that is the only way to describe the color scheme.

very proud of myself

so i have this amazing dress made out of TOTALLY psychedelic fabric.

but the problem with it is that it is designed with a very small end, so that i have to take tiny steps and look feminine. well, i will not stand for either looking like someone else's idea of femininity, nor will i stand for having to walk slowly. so i cut a slit up the side and hemmed it. i am very proud of this particular piece of butchery, because it looks like it was made that way. so here it is.
i think this picture is kind of trippy cause i forgot to turn of the flash so everything looks distorted and blobby.
